About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Analyst to join our team at Marlowe Fire and Security. As a key member of our Service Admin department, you will play a critical role in providing qualitative data and insightful commentary on the operational performance of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and issue routine daily/weekly/monthly reports with commentary to the leadership team, including engineer revenue, productivity, travel, stock usage, and compliance assessments.
  • Reconcile engineer revenue to the revenue as declared in the monthly accounts produced within our financial management system.
  • Produce weekly timesheet audits, including review of high overtime.
  • Provide a link between service management and payroll to accurately sign off commissions/overtime/expenses.
  • Monthly verify incentive scheme details.
  • Produce a complete suite of anomaly reports identifying wastage and significant sub-optimized business outcomes (penalties, credits, underspends, missing revenue).
  • Analyze profitability of sub-con labor usage, linking cost to revenue.
  • Ensure best use is being made of KPI data and company delivery performance against customer SLAs.
Requirements

  • Flexible approach, able to pick up new work and one-off projects as they arise.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team and on own initiative.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Detailed understanding of the use of operational and financial databases.
  • Advanced Office 365 skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to deal with high volumes of complex data.
  • ODBC/SQL skills desirable but not pre-requisite.
  • Knowledge of management accounts desirable but not essential.
  • SAGE 200/CASH for Windows knowledge would be of advantage. Training in these applications will be provided.
