About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Analyst to join our team at Marlowe Fire and Security. As a key member of our Service Admin department, you will play a critical role in providing qualitative data and insightful commentary on the operational performance of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare, review, and issue routine daily, weekly, and monthly reports with commentary to our leadership team. Reports will include engineer revenue, productivity, travel, stock usage, compliance assessments, and other key performance indicators.
  • Reconciliation and Verification: Reconcile engineer revenue to the revenue declared in our monthly accounts produced within Sage 200. Verify incentive scheme details on a monthly basis.
  • Timesheet Audit and Compliance: Conduct weekly timesheet audits, including review of high overtime. Ensure accurate sign-off of commissions, overtime, and expenses.
  • Business Intelligence and Insights: Provide a link between service management and payroll to ensure accurate data. Analyze and present data to support business decisions, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Operational Performance Management: Ensure that best use is being made of KPI data and company delivery performance against customer SLAs. Identify and address areas of sub-optimization, waste, and penalties.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with ODBC/SQL and database management
  • Knowledge of management accounts and financial databases
  • Ability to work in a team and on own initiative
  • Discretion and respect for confidential information
  • Proactive approach and excellent interpersonal skills
