Hinkley Point B power station currently has two Fixed Term Contract opportunities (up to March 2026) for two administrative support team members to provide general administration support in the departments of Operations and Transfer & Deconstruction. These two positions will support the departments in providing the efficient running of fuel route and transfer & deconstruction activities and achieve safe, reliable operations on a defueling nuclear power station.


Pay & Benefits

The salary range is between £28,422 and £43,009, with terms and conditions covered by the EDF Energy Nuclear Generation Company Agreement. The starting salary for this appointment will be dependent of your existing salary, competence, experience, and qualifications.

This role is being offered on a fixed term contract up to March 2026. We are looking for someone who is able to work onsite 3-4 days per week with some flexibility.

What you’ll be doing

General Office duties to support the team Diary & meeting management. Organisation and management of documents and records including supporting the documentation process for the issuing and archiving of documents. Reviewing and managing data such as Key Performance Indicators Preparing reports and meeting packs for the Department Group Head. Managing the Corrective Action Plan (CAP) process with evaluation of Condition Reports and manage Actions placed. Supporting the Station Business Plan in meeting key targets and objectives. Supporting the Group Head in managing operations and processes and follow up actions. Attending meetings and taking minutes and recording actions. Supporting teams in co-ordinating the supply of essential equipment. Participating on planned walk downs and Safety walks.

Who you are

Minimum Qualifications GSCE C or above in English and Maths or equivalent Proficient in Microsoft Office in particular excel and PowerPoint Excellent communication skills to enable you to articulate information and collaborate at all levels of the station Self-motivated and able to work on your own and as part of a team
