Class 2 Bin Lorry Driver

Are you a Class 2 Driver looking for work in the Arbroath area?

Driver Hire Dundee are looking for a Category C driver to work with our client to drive a bin lorry. This is an ongoing dayshift position where you will work with a crew to collect refuse across the Angus area. You will be involved in both driving and the loading and unloading of bins on to the vehicle.

As a Class 2 Driver you will need:

  • Category C entitlement on your UK driving licence
  • Valid Drivers CPC and Digital Tachograph
  • No more than 6 points on your licence, with no major endorsements
  • Recent class 2 driving experience

This is an ongoing role, expected to last for a minimum of 3 months. There are excellent prospects for permanent employment for the successful candidate.

All candidates will be inducted, assessed, and subject to drug and alcohol testing.

In return, the Class 2 Driver will receive:

  • £14.86 per hour including holiday pay (£13.26 accrued)
  • £22.89 per hour overtime including holiday pay (£19.89 accrued)
  • Weekly pay
  • Full time hours for a minimum of 3 months

This position is commutable from Dundee, Carnoustie, Forfar, Montrose and surrounding areas.
