We are delighted to present an exciting job opportunity to work for a Grounds Maintenance business based in Brackley. Our client is looking for experienced Bid Manager to become a valuable addition to their team and contribute to their upcoming bids. The Bid Manager will be responsible for working with tenders, reports and liaising with multiple stakeholders as well as managing a team of Bid Writers. This position offers flexibility of remote work, with three days spent on-site and two days working from a remote location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accumulate and distribute detailed tender information.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for numerous stakeholders.
  • Ensure excellent levels of administration and data management.
  • Compile reports utilising data from various sources and ensure consistent, accurate reporting across all areas.
  • Handle incoming enquiries and complaints when necessary.
  • Encourage continuous learning and improvement, manage a small team to achieve and exceed targets, conduct performance reviews, and regular catchups.
  • Ensure the quality of submissions meets exacting standards.
  • Perform any other reasonable duty that falls within your capabilities.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in bid management.
  • Previous experience in bid writing, copywriting, and marketing.
  • Experience managing a small team.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of PQQs, tenders, etc.
  • Ability to motivate a small team.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to deliver content in a demanding environment with tight deadlines.
