In order to help achieve this, Labcorp is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our growing Sample Management team.

This is a remote based role primarily - travel to site will be required on occasion, so you must be situated within a commutable distance of Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

In this role you will be working with the Consignee and the courier to ensure Labcorp imports are cleared through Customs efficiently and accurately.

Duties Include:

Supporting end users in determining the correct customs clearance information.

Issuing Customs clearance instructions to couriers for UK imports.

Liaising between the end users on various UK sites and the courier to resolve discrepancies and queries preventing the clearance of an import.

Obtaining all of the relevant import documents for all imports.

Performing all month end checks as described in the Import SOP and report discrepancies to management.

Managing the Imports Email Inbox.

Being fully conversant with SOPs, P&Ps, GLP, GMP and Company EH&S regulations pertaining to the department and the job role.

Supporting the Senior European Materials Controller in process improvement initiatives.

Performing such other duties that are required from time to time. These will include other Logistics tasks and routine FSA tasks.

Qualifications:

Qualified to GCSE Level, inclusive of Maths and English.

Skills/Experience:

Previous experience of working in a similar logistics role, import/customs experience would be advantageous.

Computing skills, including word processing and use of spreadsheets (e.g. Microsoft Office packages

Administrative skills of a high standard
