Location:Boston MA 02108Duration: 11months (Possibleextension)

Overview: Under the direction of theSenior Manager of Delivery System Investment Policy and Workforcethe Program Manager will work with the Client Accountable Care andBehavioral Health (ACBH) team to implement Workforce Initiativeprograms on behalf of the Executive Office of Health and HumanServices (EOHHS).

Scope ofWork:

  • Support Clientleadership in implementation of Workforce Initiativeprograms
  • Provide project management supportfor the Workforce Initiative programs including creation andmanagement of workplans tracking key deadlines and reportingrequirements and creating and maintaining decisiontrackers
  • Support oversight of the vendors thatmanage Workforce Initiatives programs including:
    • Student loan repayment
    • Residencyprograms
    • Community health workertraining
    • Competencybased trainings
  • Support review and approvalprocesses for various Workforce Initiative program applications anddeliverables such as applications statements of work budgets andproject summaries
  • Support the development andimplementation of future Workforce Initiatives
  • Summarize findings of data analysis and incorporatepertinent information into project presentations
  • Perform other duties as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters degree in Health Care or BusinessAdministration Public Health or a health policy related health carefield; or equivalent.
  • 3 years of relatedexperience in technical assistance provision program management orproject management
  • Communication andpresentation skills both oral and written to interact withleadership staff providers and other stakeholders.

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with the Medicaid program especially in theMassachusetts landscape
  • Flexibility andability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
  • Structured and processoriented thinker with a stronginterest in healthcare workforce sustainability andinvestment.
  • Confident taking ownership ofworkstreams with highlevel direction and guidance and producingproposed plans of action in a selfdriven manner.
  • Significant understanding of health care policy anddelivery systems reform both in Massachusetts andnationally.
  • Ability to coordinate numerousprojects simultaneously to successful completion.
