Role: Junior Project Coordinator

Position Overview:
The Corporate Application Management manages the IT requirements of the corporate functions within Squarepoint. We work with other corporate departments to advise, solution design, develop and integrate systems into Squarepoint’s’ infrastructure. Some of our systems are designed from scratch and developed using Python and Web frameworks to produce bespoke solutions for the teams. Other systems are built to glue together commercially available applications to maximize automation of business processes. We are seeking new junior coordinator to join our growing team. You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity of thought and creative solutions are valued. The project coordinator will also prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels.
Position Overview:
Serve as point of communication between company teams and external resources such as banking partners, implementation partners. Develop and maintain project performance database that tracks overall progress and milestones. Supporting business processes and ensuring coherence between all stakeholders. Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels and escalate issues according to project work plan. Planning meetings, taking meeting notes and organizing project logistics. Managing multiple administration tasks simultaneously. Ability to work as individual as well as in group. This role will require the coordination of integration work with our internal development and functional teams and external bank partners. The role will involve preparing a project plan, coordinating with bank partners for resource allocations and getting all necessary paperwork signed. This role will ensure that a status report is shared with internal stakeholders. This role that will be involved in complex finance and tax projects from a coordination standpoint. We will provide training on the processes to ensure a smooth transition into the role. Our expectation is that, in the future, the individual in this role will be able to initiate process-related questions during quarterly reviews.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a field that provides a strong foundation in business, technology, or related areas. 1 + Internship in a corporate setting. Demonstrated experience supporting a project through from initiation to completion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with senior project staff and stakeholders. Ability to work under tight deadlines.
