  • Co-ordinate the Supported Internship Programme;  
  • Work with employers to establish internship opportunities;  
  • Co-ordinate the support required for learners on Supported Internships; and   
  • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons in line with college policies.  

Key Person Specification Requirements:

  • Systematic Instruction Training or a commitment to work towards one;
  • Assessing Qualification;
  • Educated to A Level/Level 3 Standard;
  • GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths;
  • IT Qualification (ECDL or Equivalent) ;
  • Experience of working with learners with learning difficulties/disabilities in a work experience/supported employment setting;
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment; and  
  • Enhanced DBS check.
