An award-winning SEN School group, renowned for their exceptional educational standards and innovative approach to special education, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join the permanent staff at their esteemed school in Quidenham, Norfolk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the educational and social development of students with SEN.
- Work with teachers to plan and implement individualized learning programs.
- Support students in developing their self-confidence, independence, and social skills.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in an SEN support role is essential.
- Qualification: Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Knowledge: Understanding of SEN best practices and strategies for supporting students with diverse needs.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Attitude: A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students with SEN.
