You will work closely with the Education Team to ensure the smooth running of the school and help shape the provision as it develops.
As a Teaching Assistant, your main role will be to support pupils in their learning and overall well-being, ensuring each child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Work alongside the class team to provide meaningful educational experiences for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and moderate to severe learning difficulties
Help manage positive behaviour strategies, tailored to each child's needs
Promote the safety and well-being of students, in line with the school's safeguarding policies
Good standard of English, Maths, and communication skills
Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures
Experience managing challenging behaviour
Commitment to putting the child first and treating each pupil as an individual
Positive, creative approach to meeting student needs
