Assistant Management Accountant – INTERNAL ONLY

Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant
Function: Finance
Reporting to: UK Management Accountant
Scope: Clarke Energy Ltd
Location: Knowsley, Hybrid working available
Job Purpose: To provide support to the production of the UK management accounts and the finance department.
Majority of time spent: Assisting the finance team to deliver the monthly/quarterly/yearly results.
Responsibilities:
Preparation and reconciliation of weekly cashflow Quarterly VAT analysis and submission Intercompany invoicing Intercompany reconciliations Intercompany commission calculations Monthly profit and loss movement analysis Overview of customer compliance checks Invoicing of customer O&M Involvement with internal and external audits Future duties will include balance sheet reconciliations and processing of project WIP Other adhoc duties to assist the department Perform administrative duties as required Follow and adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental standards and regulations as appropriate to work being undertakenTechnical/Professional Knowledge and Skills:
Part Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or actively studying towards) Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel/Office Good knowledge of accounting packages – Navision 4ps would be advantageous Good level of business understanding Personal Attributes/Skills:
