We are now recruiting a Machinist to join our team in Penrith. The role will contain comprehensive training.

Competitive pay : from £13.29 to £15.35 per hour (£30,248.20 per annum) +£500 joining bonus , with shift premiums and enhanced overtime rates
Start date : September
3 shift rota : 06:00 to 14:00 – 14:00 to 22:00 – 22:00 to 06:00
Mon to Fri - enjoy your weekends off
Your role:
Verifying that products are being supplied to specifications Identifying potential sub-standard materials Preventing substandard materials from entering the supply chain Identifying and segregating any non-conforming items Feedback findings and producing reports Machine setting and basic maintenance Root cause / problem solving Recording down time Working closely with the team to build a “right-first-time culture”What we’re looking for:
