Based at our Palethorpes Bakery in Market Drayton, we're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our savoury squad as Production Operators. If you've got a knack for fast-paced food production, a keen eye for detail, and a love for all things pastry, then you might just be the perfect filling for our team
Job Description: As a Production Operator, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that every sausage roll and pie that leaves our bakery is nothing short of scrumptious. From 6am to 6pm, on a part-time basis with a delightful 2 on 6 off shift pattern, you'll be responsible for booking in and out pallets using our computer system, ensuring that our famous products are ready to roll out to hungry customers across the land.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of our team to maintain the smooth running of our fast-paced food production line.
- Keep a keen eye on the pastry-making process, ensuring that every sausage roll and pie is baked to golden perfection.
- Use our computer system to book in and out stock with precision and efficiency (training given).
- Completion of sample checks and paperwork correctly filled in for production changes
- Collaborate with your fellow team members to uphold our high standards of quality and food safety.
Requirements:
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Previous factory experience, ideally in a food-based environment
- A passion for pies, a love for sausage rolls, and an appetite for success.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
