Based at our Palethorpe's Bakery in Market Drayton, we're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our savoury squad as Production Operative's. If you've got a knack for fast-paced food production, a keen eye for detail, and a love for all things pastry, then you might just be the perfect filling for our team

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Operate Production Lines**: Work efficiently on fast-paced production lines to meet daily production targets. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure the quality and consistency of food products.
- ** Quality Checks**: Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods to maintain high standards of quality and safety. Identify and report any deviations from specifications.
- ** Handling Raw Meats**: Handle and process raw meats (pork) according to food safety regulations and company protocols. Adhere to strict hygiene practices to prevent cross-contamination and ensure product integrity.
- ** Flour Environment**: Work in an environment where flour is present, following proper safety precautions to minimize the risk of allergen contamination and maintain cleanliness.
- ** Lifting and Handling**: Lift and manoeuvre heavy objects such as 25kg pastry pins and other materials as required. Follow safe lifting techniques to prevent injury and maintain personal safety.
- ** Repetitive Tasks**: Perform repetitive tasks as part of the production process, maintaining focus and attention to detail to ensure consistent product quality.
- ** Team Collaboration**: Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and efficient production flow. Communicate any issues or concerns promptly to minimize disruptions.
- ** Adherence to Health and Safety Regulations**: Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), following hygiene protocols, and participating in safety training programs.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience in a food production environment preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and weekends as required.
