Protocol Education are recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school in LoughtonLocation:

Job Duties:

The primary responsibility of a Teaching Assistant is to support students with special educational needs in their learning and development. This includes assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons, providing one-to-one support to individuals, and helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. The role may also involve assisting with personal care and helping students with their social and emotional well-being.

Required Qualifications:

- A degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field

- Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Experience:

Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs

Knowledge and Skills:

- Understanding of special educational needs and inclusive education practises

- Ability to provide effective support to students with diverse learning needs

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals

Full time Monday-Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
