**Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant**

**SEN School catering for students aged 4-16 years with a range of SEN needs**

**Location: London**

**Hours: 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday**

**Salary: £80 - £100 per day, depending on experience**

**Clear enhanced DBS required**

**Duties**:

- Maintain the classroom and equipment in a safe and tidy condition.
- Contribute to record-keeping by recording observations of pupils during the school day.
- Communicate their knowledge and understanding of students to other school staff
- Demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours consistent with the role and in line with the expectations
- Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities.
- Provide teaching and learning support including the use of appropriate technical resources
- Support students with SEN and additional needs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Fixed term contract Contract length: 3-12 months

**Salary**: £80.00-£100.00 per dayDuties:

- Provide care and support for toddlers and preschool-aged children.
- Assist with classroom management and maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Help with the development of age-appropriate activities and materials.
- Support individual students' learning needs and provide one-on-one or small group instruction when necessary.
- Assist with record-keeping, including attendance, progress reports, and assessments.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher and other teaching staff to ensure effective communication and coordination.

**Skills**:

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Ability to assist with lesson planning and curriculum development.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a nurturing environment for young learners.
- Organizational skills to manage classroom materials and resources.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the classroom.
