As an  IT Helpdesk Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical telephone support to our customers in order to maintain their systems. You will support the technical teams where required and rectify any faults in a professional and timely manner.

As an IT Helpdesk Technician, further responsibilities will also include:

Provide technical telephone support to our customers using the remote tools available to provide a solution to a fault or enquiry with their telecommunications system. Maintain a high standard of customer service by ensuring customers are kept up to date with the progress of their fault or enquiry. Install, update and maintain relevant software and systems. Use remote troubleshooting tools to diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues. Report 3rd party faults and pass to the relevant department where necessary. Support the technical team in additional areas where required. Log any customer interaction accurately on our database.

The successful applicant will have the following:

Experience in customer service, 1st and 2nd Line support. Experience in Android applications. Strong knowledge of networking including; routers, switches and IP addresses. Good communication skills both on the phone and in person. Able to thrive in a fast paced environment. Strong organisational skills and shows enthusiasm to all duties.
