A great opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to join our team as an Adobe Animate/HTML5 Training Developer. In this role, you will work within a small team of dedicated engineering professionals, developing and delivering technical training solutions for the Rolls-Royce Submarines Business and wider Submarines Enterprise.

This is a full-time role with much of the working week spent at our main site in Derby. Due to the Security Classification of our material, there will a periodic requirement to be in office five days a week, but flexible working (i.e., working from home) will be made available when appropriate.

With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to be involved with the following:
You will work within an established Training Development Team to deliver Adobe Animate/HTML5 solutions to aid the delivery of NSRP training to Rolls-Royce Submarines staff, the Customer and Submarines Enterprise partners. You will design innovative and cost-effective Adobe Animate solutions to develop interactive animated content, utilising latest industry standards in support of future training requirements. You will update and refresh existing training content via a purpose-built Animate/HTML5 framework. you will interface with other internal and external training teams, training tool developers, and Subject Matter Experts to provide well considered, fit for purpose solutions. You will attend a range of external continuous professional development events to further advance your knowledge, develop partner relationships, and represent the Rolls-Royce brand.Who we’re looking for:

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:
Degree in digital learning design/digital information design, and/or equivalent relevant experience supported by a professional portfolio. Experience in producing engaging technical e-learning/classroom-based courses/presentations with exceptional attention to detail, particularly regarding typography and layout. A high level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with a specific focus on Animate, Illustrator and Photoshop. Good working knowledge of ActionScript, JavaScript, HTML5. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications. Experience in converting Flash content to Animate/HTML5. Strong interpersonal and technical communication skills. Experience in delivering punctually within time-critical projects, to a defined quality standard. While not essential, some video editing and motion graphics experience would be advantageous.We are an equal opportunities employer. To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
