Animal Health Support Professional

A challenging yet rewarding role has become available for an Animal Health Support Professional to join our team at Pride Referrals in Derby. In this position, you will support our veterinary team to deliver world-class patient care, contributing to a positive and professional work environment.
Our facility boasts state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, providing a comprehensive range of services to cater to the diverse needs of our patients. This includes 13 consultation rooms, 7 hospital wards, 5 theatres, a full advanced imaging suite, 3 ultrasound rooms, an endoscopy suite, a hydrotherapy pool, treadmills, and dedicated chemo & radio-iodine treatment rooms.
Key Responsibilities- As an Animal Health Support Professional, your primary duties will include supporting the team with patient care, restraint, and medication administration, as well as maintaining a clean and safe hospital environment.
- You will also contribute to the creation of care plans, manage inventory, and assist with various administrative tasks.
We seek candidates with previous animal care experience and relevant qualifications are advantageous. A self-motivated individual who is comfortable working under supervision.
Working ConditionsThis is a full-time role with set hours from Monday to Friday, 7am-9pm. You may be required to work one or two bank holidays per year.
- £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
