Join thebigword’s dynamic operations team within the Translation Division, that powers our clients' global reach Whether it's translating your website into Zulu or decoding schematics for a nuclear submarine, we're here to make it happen.

Your Role in Action

As a Team Manager within the Translation Division Operations team, you're behind the scenes of our seamless translation Project Management. Your mission? To lead and inspire a high-performing team to achieve excellence, while fostering engagement and retention.

· Build and nurture a team over the whole employee lifecycle, for peak performance and engagement, minimising turnover while fostering competence and cohesion. Set and track team KPIs and individual goals to drive alignment with our business objectives.

· Lead the team to effectively manage clients and deliver exceptional service. Retain and grow revenue from existing clients and implement new clients.

· Utilise the quality and process framework to drive consistent, high-quality delivery, retaining client revenue and delivering continual development.

· Fully understand the client’s business and proactively work to identify and implement best practice workflows

· Drive successful implementation of preventative measures following client feedback.

· Work with Business Support to produce, interpret and present data for internal or client facing purposes

· Lead on client calls, meetings, and account reviews, preparing for the meeting and ownership of post-meeting follow up actions

· Regularly conduct risk and trend analysis with a view to implement process changes to drive efficiencies and continual improvement across the department

· Proactively work with internal and external stakeholders to build positive client relationships

· Drive profitability through the monitoring and control of internal and external costs

· Actively engage in and lead company initiatives

· Direct your team to engage with the linguist population driving price negotiations to achieve improved margins

· have strong time management and prioritisation skills

· enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
