Associate Director Building Surveyor

Hays is working with one of the largest independent Building Consultancies in Scotland to recruit an Associate Director for their Building Surveying business.
As an Associate Director, you'll be encouraged to pursue and develop work streams that you enjoy and explore niches within that field. You will have the space to work autonomously on your own projects as well as working together with your colleagues towards team objectives.
With the company leadership based in Scotland, they have an intimate understanding of the property and construction market on a local level. With every arm of their business being managed locally, they are able to successfully adapt to the changing market and have a growing secure pipeline of work. They are looking for strategic thinkers and those who want to grow within the business.
The successful candidate will be encouraged to engage in business development as well as nurturing relationships with existing clients. You will also mentor younger mentors of the team as they move towards sitting their APC.
The ideal candidate is MRICS Chartered (5 years post-qualified) with a spread of project experience and the drive to contribute to a growing team and business.
In return, you'll receive a salary of up to £60k with a car and a competitive benefit package. Our client is passionate about work-life balance, creating a supportive office and team culture where you can play to your strengths.
