This Hybrid role is nottightly linked to a physical location in the UK and providesflexibility in where when and how you accomplish your work butvisits to the Oxford head office are essential. Please do not applyfrom outside the UK.

  • TheCredit Analyst is responsible for controlling the credit risksinvolved with releasing product to a franchised dealer network.
  • This is achieved through close workingrelations with internal and external stakeholders working topredefined policies and procedures which clearly mark out authoritylevels and integrating resources with the close management ofcomplex areas.
  • Identifying problem solvingissues and making recommendations where appropriate.
  • It is the responsibility of a Credit Analystto make management aware of any significant changes in therelationship or operations of any dealer escalating any issueswhich they are made aware of by a 3rd party or that become apparentas part of daily operations.
  • The role willsupport the Credit Environment and as a result of this will fromtime to time may be required to support the Credit UnderwritingTeam

EducationSpecifications

  • FinanceEconomics or related Degree Preferred.
  • Abilityto operate in an international environment.
  • Strong communication skills written and verbalas well as high levels of cultural awareness.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of companyleadership and colleagues.
  • Good workingknowledge of MS Excel Word and Outlook.
  • Memberof the CICM ICTF FECMA or similar Credit Management institutions anadvantage.
  • Experience with Export Credit anadvantage.
  • Working knowledge of SAP anadvantage.

DetailedResponsibilities

  • Collections:Performance: Maintain past due position in line withagreed targets; Communication followups to be performed and loggedwithin appropriate systems in line with activity work lists; SoldMotorcycles to be paid in line with operating criteria; Escalationof poor performing dealers where risks are considered high;management of payment plans.
  • StockManagement: Where appropriate Inventory inspections tobe performed in line with agreed floor inspection cycle applyingjudgment and making independent decisions with broadly definedguidelines; Where appropriate Floor Check data to be reviewed andmaintained daily.
  • Reporting: Key performanceindicators for market to be produced periodically including but notlimited to: Past Due Performance Legal Instrument Analysis CreditLimit Sign Off (on the water).
  • CashProcessing: Cash to be posted within 24 hours of receipt;All cash to be allocated at the end of each month where allocationdetail permits; Perform Bank Reconciliations; Manage the set up andtesting of new direct debit mandates.
  • System Maintenance:Customer Master Data set up and maintenance is animportant part of the Credit function and must be performed on atimely basis in line with corporate policy and across all requiredsystems.
  • Projects: Assist on projects as andwhen required.
