Risk Management department is responsible for developing, maintaining and promoting the Bank’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) and activities, and for providing independent second line of defence (2LoD) oversight for Traded Market Risk, IRRBB & FX Risk, Operational Risk and Model Risk management activities as well as the project management activities (i.e. project risk) in the Bank. As a part of team in Enterprise Risk, you will be supporting the team in developing and implementing a sound ERMF, overseeing framework embedment and execution, supporting enterprise-wide risk committees and maintaining a holistic risk profile of the Bank and provide enterprise input to various initiatives in the Bank. This is a full time permanent position.

Key responsibilities

  • Participate in developing and maintaining the team document suites (e.g. ERMF, Risk Appetite Framework)
  • Lead the designing and production of enterprise stress test management framework and enterprise emergency management framework
  • Drive the production of enterprise risk reporting, working with contributors from the respective business, second line of defence (2LoD) functions and risk committees; provide regular update on the Bank’s holistic risk profile to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), RMICC (Risk Management and Internal Control Committee) and Board Risk Committee
  • Maintain effective engagement with the stakeholders from business and the respective 2LoD functions for effective collaboration as well as sound understanding and effective embedding of ERMF and its principle expectations across the Bank
  • Participate in project managing and overseeing the annual review of the Bank’s Risk Appetite Statement (RAS), working with contributors from the respective 2LoD functions
  • Design, maintain and deliver enterprise risk training programme and communication in order to raise awareness and support the embedding of robust risk framework, governance and culture
  • Support other organisational planning that promotes solid risk culture

Requirements

  • Degree educated in Business Administration, Risk, Finance, Economics, Accounting or other equivalent
  • Solid experience gained from working in risk management environment in Financial Services, Audit or Consulting
  • Solid understanding of Basel Accord and ERMF as well as best practices around ERM component such as risk appetite and stress test framework
  • A good knowledge of regulatory expectation for a robust risk governance framework
  • Good knowledge in Credit Risk, Market Risk and Operational Risk
  • Excellent ability to work independently and within a team
  • Good strategic thinking and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with ability to form effective relationships and to collaborate with, influence and engage key stakeholders
