Role Summary
The successful candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure and experience of dealing with the general public and with difficult/distressed people. A flexible approach to work and experience of working in a busy environment and with minimal supervision are also essential.
To provide professional, efficient and accurate administrative support to teams within the Honiton and Ottery St Mary cluster. Provide cover for reception, outpatients and community. Undertake general clerical duties This may include typing documents, retrieving and preparing patient records, filing, entering information onto computer systems in accordance with Trust policies, retrieval of policy information and assisting with audits.

We are looking to recruit a professional and reliable individual to provide efficient and effective Reception & Administrative services to patients, visitors and Community teams at Ottery St Mary Community Hospital. The post holder will have experience in working in a receptionist role. They will be proficient in dealing with confidentiality issues and able to provide excellent customer care service, ensuring patient’s details are accurately recorded and the relevant documentation is created to support safe patient care. This position is instrumental in creating a “good first impression” of the Trust / Department to patients and visitors.
Working hours per week to cover Wednesday and Thursday, : - :, Friday : - : ( minute lunch break).
