Expro  are currently recruiting for a Graduate Proposals Engineer to join the Subsea team based in Aberdeen.

Overall Purpose of the Job

Expro Subsea Product line has been at the forefront of the Subsea Test Tree and Landing string market for 40+ years. An opportunity has arisen to join Expro as part of the Technical & Commercial team responsible for preparation and delivery of high quality Tender and sales enquiry responses. To deliver on this you will be part of team that ensures the appropriate technical solutions are developed to satisfy client requirements whilst maximising SSWA services and expertise. Provide correct technical input to all ITT’s received through the central SSWA PL. Ensure company HSEQ and policies, procedures and any related legislation is complied with and achieve optimal service quality to achieve client satisfaction.

There is flexibility in the position in terms of entry level, as such applications are invited from both fully experienced personnel or applicants with lesser experience.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

We will provide full training to enable you to undertake the following duties as a fully trained Proposals Engineer:

Respond to Client and Region tender and quotation requests ensuring that best Technical & Commercial solution is presented. Preparation of Tenders, RFQ responses etc within proprietary software XaitPorter. Plan and work to prescribed deadlines such that all allocated responsibilities are delivered on time. Ensure the provision of first line specialist and technical liaison with clients and Expro’s operations and SSWA team. Engage with other Expro regions and Product lines to maximise “bundled” opportunities for the supply of multiple services Identify opportunities within for marketing the technology and seeking new business then develop appropriate strategies for delivering them in conjunction with the Global Technical Sales Manager. Work in close liaison with Operations and Product Line teams to assist in the delivery of new technology to client base Ensure flow of information across all Internal Expro teams and External Client point of contact Establish regular liaison with clients, support operations teams in driving improvements and opportunities for increasing revenue Develop presentations on SSWA product line for delivery to clients or potential clients and undertake meetings, technology gatherings etc which provide an opportunity to circulate information on the company products and their capabilities Provide forecast and budget support to the Product Line and Region organisation Provide required reports as per schedule and ensure Salesforce database is kept up to date Liaise with internal and external departments as and when required to ensure all information is circulated as appropriate also client questions and queries are resolved in a timely manner. Liaise with manager on any issues or concerns Ensure all Tenders and enquiries are responded in alignment with Expro BD Policies and Procedures

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

Hold a Professional Qualification preferably in a Technical area and/or suitable Oilfield service experience Previous experience within the Oil & Gas service industry is desirable Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Data Bases, PowerPoint, Autocad desirable Financial Awareness in relation to tender/quotation/ budget process
