We are looking for bilingual women to act as Health Facilitators to help us increase the uptake of breast and cervical cancer screening across London.
Owing to the nature of this work, we can only accept applications from women . This is a genuine occupational requirement, as covered by the Equality Act 2010.
Duties and Responsibilities
Contacting patients invited for screening from different boroughs in London, via telephone interviews. Supporting cancellation and rescheduling of appointments, finding out about the reasons behind “not attending” or 'not participating' persuading patients to take part in the programmes.Telephoning will take place from different GP practices across London. An Excel monitoring form will be filled in that gives information on the calls and the responses.
Qualifications
GCSE level of education is essential
Practical skills
Telephone interviews/calls Bilingual: English with Romanian IT literate: good knowledge of Microsoft Excel Typing skills
