About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Support Worker to join our Children's Health 0-19 Service as a sessional worker. The successful candidate will work as part of the Single Point of Access (SPoA) admin team, supporting our clinical workers: Health Visitors, School Nurses, and Nursery Nurses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the assessment of health needs and delivery of appropriate services to meet the needs of individuals and the wider community within a defined area of the London Borough of Newham.
  • Undertake duties as delegated by the Registered Nurse and Nursery Nurses in the community teams.
  • Liaise with local and national maternity and child health departments to enable smooth exchange of patient identifiable clinical data and information.
About You

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Maths and English GCSE C or equivalent.
  • Ability to move between sites working across health and social care as required by the needs of the service and development programme.
  • Experience of dealing face to face and on the phone with various clients, clinical staff, and others.
  • IT literacy using clinical systems, word processing, email, and internet use.
