About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Support Worker to join our team at Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health assessments and interventions.
  • Develop and maintain positive therapeutic relationships with service users and their families.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to service users in crisis.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the team's goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a mental health setting, preferably in a crisis intervention role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation and policies, including the Mental Health Act.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and confidential records.
