Evidence of continuing professional development, having gained orworking towards professional qualifications in Informationtechnology topics. Cisco CCNA (current). Can demonstrate knowledgeof Firewall administration. Be able to display elements of basicproject management skills. Demonstrable experience of working in avoice and data network technical support team. In-depth experienceof structured cabling systems, both UTP and fibre. Ability to takea business need and convert to a technological solution. In-depthdata communications network administration and support (TCP/IPprotocol suite). Call logging & network management equipmentoperation, including production of management reports and trafficanalysis. Experience of configuring and supporting Cisco routersand switches. Understanding of network security issues. In-depthexperience of network troubleshooting. In-depth understanding ofnetwork management services, e.g., DNS, DHCP. In-depthunderstanding of wireless networks. Maintain relationships withsuppliers and external vendors. Good general IT skills includingthe use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive,PowerPoint, Visio and Excel (incl. ability to work with tables inword, produce high quality presentations). Ability to work underpressure and meet deadlines. Good communication, facilitation andInfluencing skills, which can be applied to driving improvement andchange.
