Main duties of the job

To be responsible for jointly leading and developing the Physiotherapy team (at Stoke Mandeville Hospital) within Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, in regard to all aspects of clinical governance within this specialty, shared responsibility.

Current registration with Health Professions Council Diploma /Degree in Physiotherapy Membership of professional special interest group Evidence of CPD in the form of a detailed personal development portfolio Field work/clinical educators course

Working experience at Band 6 level Experience in related field at senior level Experience in student clinical supervision Ability to work and interact effectively within an interdisciplinary team Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development, and reflective practice Knowledge and application of evidence based practice and clinical reasoning Experience in supervision of junior staff Minimum of 18 months working experience at Band 6 level Participation in audit and research activities Establish and maintain CPD Portfolio Demonstration of having initiated change of practice or process following identification of clinical or service need
