We are looking for a motivated, qualified ENP, who is developing their knowledge and skills in minor injury and illness management, to enhance our established service.
The successful candidate needs to have excellent communication skills, be able to manage themselves and be able to demonstrate their competence as an ENP, with the scope of developing within the speciality of minor injury and illness management.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate would be expected to provide a quality minor injury/ illness service to patients attending the Emergency Department, delivering a patient centred style of practice that promotes and reflects the values of the Trust.
You will be working as an autonomous practitioner who will independently assess, investigate, treat and discharge or refer patients attending the department with a diverse range of minor injuries/illnesses, within the parameters of the Emergency Department guidelines and scope of practice. You will supported to develop your scope of clinical practice, with regular supervision and formal education opportunities .
The post holder will be part of a team, and will be expected to promote and practice evidence-based care, implementing new ideas and changes for the benefit of the patient and be involved in staff development, though education, supervision and mentorship.
This role covers a variety of shift times including weekdays, weekends and nights.
