Children's Staff Nurse - Emergency Department
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for delivering high standards of care in a fast-paced emergency setting. If you have an interest in paediatric emergency nursing and are looking to gain experience in a dynamic environment, we have a position for you.
We are seeking a Children's Nurse with previous experience in an emergency setting or ward-based skills looking to transition into this exciting field. Our department offers an excellent learning environment and support to gain new skills.
This role offers the opportunity to work across two sites, John Radcliffe Hospital and Horton General Hospital.
Main Duties- Independently assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care for a defined caseload of patients
- Assume responsibility for individual clinical areas within the unit
- Maintain and continually develop specialist knowledge of nursing practice relevant to individual clinical areas
- Contribute to the development of others through supervision, mentoring, and teaching
- Contribute toward the continuing development of professional nursing practice in the Emergency Department
- Follow trust guidance in regards to safeguarding
