We are a caring and popular practice of just over 7000 patients located in a modern, purpose-built health centre in Winsford.

Who are we? High Street is a well-established practice based in Winsford, a medium-sized town of 33,000 residents. Winsford has a thriving care community and lies within easy reach of the lovely Cheshire countryside, historical Chester and the motorway networks to the bustling cities of Manchester and Liverpool.

Main duties of the job

Main duties will be the usual duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care, including surgery and telephone consultations, occasional visits, making referrals as needed, dealing with queries, signing prescriptions, and reviewing and actioning patient test results and correspondence. We actively encourage and support special interests.

About us

The successful applicant will work closely with three doctors, two GPAs, two practice nurses and our dedicated non-clinical team. They will also work alongside physiotherapists, dieticians, pharmacists and our Social Prescribers, all supported by our excellent management team, who like us are committed to a healthy work-life balance.
