Are you an experienced manager with a passion for driving excellent customer service in a busy, operational service?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity as a Customer Services Team Leader in the Housing Repairs & Maintenance Service.

You will lead a team of Senior Customer Service Advisors coordinating the response to complaints and councillor enquiries, managing customer enquiries into the Housing Repairs & Maintenance service, liaising with managers in the service and in partner services within the council’s Customer Services Team, Housing Asset Management and Housing Neighbourhood Teams.

Your role will be crucial in supporting the Customer Service Operations & Development Manager in implementing new ways of working within the team and wider service, particularly in respect of complaints handling, and therefore experience of managing change within a customer facing service is essential.

Initially temporary for 6 months, this role is based at Manor Lane Depot within the Repairs & Maintenance Customer Service team.
