What you'll do  


You’ll play a crucial role in driving the performance of the Procurement team, business, and third-party suppliers. Working closely with the Procurement Leadership team and Category teams, you will lead the development and creation of meaningful insights to guide decision-making. Your responsibilities will include overseeing data and insights across the 8-step lifecycle process, reporting on Procurement and Supplier Management performance to key stakeholders, providing actionable insights from internal data systems, ensuring the accuracy of reporting processes, and driving continuous improvement. Additionally, you will lead and support a team to deliver high-quality insights and reporting, collaborate with cross-functional teams, demonstrate technical competence in data analysis tools, and effectively communicate complex ideas to stakeholders. Your success will be measured by the accuracy and robustness of your reporting, the strength of relationships with stakeholders, your alignment with company values, and your ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.

With your expertise in data analysis, reporting, and management, you play a crucial role in developing and implementing the overall data and performance framework for key suppliers and categories. Your ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, communicate complex ideas effectively, and lead a team ensures the accurate reporting of performance metrics and drives value across the procurement lifecycle. With a keen eye for detail, resilience in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to continuous improvement, you contribute to the success of the Procurement Strategy & Operations team and make a significant impact on decision-making and business outcomes. 


Essential   

Expert experience of data, reporting, insights and MI including use of tools such as Excel, MicroStrategy and dashboard creation 

Experience of leading an MI & Reporting team 

Technical competence and able to demonstrate an understanding of data principles 

Experience of managing change and champion for continuous improvement 

Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience of presenting 

Stakeholder management experience, demonstrating the ability to influence, constructively challenge and confidently engage up to and including Senior Manager level, explaining complex ideas in a simple way 

Desirable

Understanding of procurement and/or supplier management principles
