A high profile position working for a hugely successful and continuously growing, global professional services business. Looking to recruit a hands on, roll-their-sleeves-up and curious Head of Procurement/Associate Director of Procurement to implement strategicprocurement into the business across all indirect spend.

The roles' key objectives are to further develop procurement best practice, ensure the business is getting the best value from their suppliers with quality service delivery. Reporting into the company's Group Finance Director, you will analyse current expenditure, existing contracts and implement strategies where long term company benefits can be achieved. This gives someone a huge challenge and opportunityto really make instant impact into a multi-national, multi-national company.

Role & responsibilities:

- Manage the full indirect category portfolio such as IT, FM, Fleet, Travel, HR, Marketing and Professional Services
- Analyse all current spend across the company's services to identify improvement or cost saving opportunities
- End-to-end procurement process, sourcing to on-going supplier relationship management
- Sole role reporting into the Finance Director, to implement strategy to achieve long term company benefits
- Analyse current spend across designated categories and identify potential cost savings
- Advise internal stakeholders of internal suppliers
- Approach stakeholders who may not have used a procurement approach in the past to sell the benefits of procurement
- Implement procurement strategies and policies into the company so it can be run on-going

Experience and requirements:

- Extensive procurement experience in a large organisation managing indirect spend
- Exposure to other corporate services procurement would be preferable
- Worked for a global, blue chip or big corporate organisation
- Implemented procurement strategies into a function or company
- Experience in managing the full procurement process
- Confident in influencing and communicating with all levels of stakeholder
- A strong negotiator when working with new or existing suppliers
- MCIPS Qualification - desirable not essential
