Pay - £86.40 per day

 

Teaching Personnel are looking for individuals who have previous experience working with people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), whether professionally or personally. We are working with a local SEN school to find staff to support individual pupils in a 1-to-1 or small group basis. A previous experience is vital and will ensure that you start strong and can work with pupils closely and start to build rapport from day one.

The ideal candidate will have a patient and positive attitude and will be able to work in an educational setting to a secondary level. You will be required to work with pupils from early years up to 19 years of age therefore the ability to adapt to change is crucial.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support: Offer 1:1 and group assistance to students, helping them manage their behaviour and emotions in a safe, secure environment.
  • Assist in creating lesson plans that are accessible to all students.
  • Provide support to students both in and out of the classroom, including personal care as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Valid DBS Enhanced Certificate (we can help you apply)
  • Valid Education Workforce Council Registration (we can help you apply)
  • Experience working with Individuals with SEN
  • To take part in any additional training needed e.g Safeguarding

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
