Our client is a Domiciliary Care Agency that provides care and support to residents over 17 years of age with Learning Disabilities and Physical/Mental Health challenges. The care support team assist their clients to make choices to how they live their lives and how the care and support they receive is delivered to live as independently as possible.

We are looking to recruit a **Senior Support Worker** and the ideal applicant will need to be a dedicated and caring individual to join their established team within their supported living facility. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of individuals who need assistance with daily living due to disabilities, age, or other challenges.
**Essential**:
**Must pass DBS Check**
**Must hold a Full Clean Driving License**
**Must be qualified to QCF Level 3 in health and social care**
**Must be registered with the Care Council Wales**
**Key responsibilities**:
- Provide personal care and support to residents, respecting their dignity and independence.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management.
- Facilitate social activities and community engagement for residents.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' health and well-being.
**Senior Support responsibilities**:
- To cover for the Care Manager when necessary.
- Support the induction of new employees.
- To attend regular staff meetings.
- Take part in the On-Call system when necessary.
- Ensure all relevant documentation files are completed accurately.
- To support service users around their medication, keeping accurate and precise records.
- Report any complaints or issues to the Manager or appropriate person or governing body.
**Key requirements for the role**:
- Experience in a care setting is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate and patient nature.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
