Job summary

We are seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about providing personalised care and support

By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, youll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for a young girl in Heywood.

In addition to offering specialised care and managing her clinical needs, you will create many fun memories together. She loves going to school and will require support with her learning and development. Engaging in activities, interacting with others, and watching CBeebies particularly her favourite, Peppa Pig brings her immense happiness. She also loves listening to nursery rhymes and enjoys music.

Our service user attends school part-time, with the goal of transitioning to full-time attendance in the future. She finds joy in various activities, interacting with others, and watching her favourite shows on TV, including CBeebies and Peppa Pig. She also enjoys listening and singing along to nursery rhymes.

In addition to delivering specialised care and managing her clinical needs, this fun and rewarding role will allow you to create many wonderful memories together, both at home and within her educational setting.

Given the significant care requirements of our service user, we are seeking candidates with exposure to childrens complex care for this role.

Please note, our service users family have specifically requested female staff for their team.

Main duties of the job

Pay Rates:

£ - £ per hour Approx. £ - £ (per 9-hour day shift)

Shifts Available:

Part Time Days 2 shifts per week 8:00am - 5:00pm

Job responsibilities

The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.

The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.

Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
