How will you make an impact?
Determining technical feasibility by evaluating requirements and analysis as well as proposed solutions.Preparing and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. Developing and implementing a global data privacy and protection strategy and framework that aligns with the company’s vision and valuesServing as a central focal point for all business units globally on the company's privacy and data protection programDeveloping and reviewing data privacy and protection policies and procedures, such as data retention, data deletion, data security, data breach response and data subject rights across the organizationAdvising and supporting business units and functions on privacy and data protection matters, such as data processing agreements, data subject rights requests, data breach notifications, and data protection impact assessmentsMonitoring and ensuring continued compliance with privacy and data protection laws and regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and othersEducating and training staff members on data privacy and protection principles, policies and proceduresConducting regular data protection audits, assessments, and reviews to identify and mitigate risks and gapsServing as the main point of contact and liaison with privacy and data protection authorities, regulators, customers, and other stakeholders on data privacy and protection issuesKeeping abreast of the latest developments and trends in data protection and privacyImplementing and maintaining ISO/IEC 27701, the international standard for privacy information managementHandling incidents involving personal data. Identifying, containing, investigating, and resolving any potential or actual breaches, as well as reporting and notifying relevant authorities and other third parties when necessaryHave you got what it takes?
A bachelor’s degree or higher, computer science, information security, law or a related fieldAt least 5 years of relevant experience in data protection, privacy, or information securityA solid understanding of privacy and data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and othersA strong knowledge of data protection best practices, tools, and technologiesExperience in implementing and maintaining ISO/IEC 27701, the international standard for privacy information managementExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsA high level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityA proactive, collaborative, and problem-solving attitudeYou will have an advantage if you also have:
A certification or qualification in data protection, such as CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, CDPO, or equivalentWhat’s in it for you?
