Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time 37 hours per week

Location of post: Various integrated bases across the borough of Neath Port Talbot with Hybrid Home Working arrangements also in place.

Neath Port Talbot Adult Social Services and Swansea Bay University Health Board are jointly seeking to recruit a Business Support Officer to join an integrated community service team which is seeking to transform the way that services are delivered.

The purpose of the post will be to assist in providing a flexible high quality and efficient business administrative support service to the integrated community services across both health and social care.

This will on occasion require travelling throughout the County Borough. We work alongside a range of professionals within the teams, including colleagues from both the local authority, health board, therapies and children’s services.

It is an exciting time to join the integrated multi-disciplinary team with friendly, experienced and supportive colleagues who are dedicated to providing a service that puts citizens at centre of our work.

Ideally you will have;

Applicants will need a reasonable standard of education to GCSE (or equivalent) level. Along with a related experience of working with people with social care needs in the communities they live in, with families and with their social networks, either in a paid or voluntary capacity.

A qualification related to the Social Work or Caring Professions e.g. BTec Social Care, Nursing, NVQ and some knowledge and understanding of principles of the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014 would also be an advantage.

This post is subject to a basic DBS disclosure
