This role is an hourly paid role, paying £13.74. The salary advertising is an example of the annualised salary for someone working 37.5 hours a week. If you work part time, this will differ.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: •Wellington Road is a property in the Heaton Chapel area of Stockport, it is a five bedroom property where 4 young gentlemen with complex care needs will soon to be transitioning into their new home. •Wellington Road is a supported living project for 4 people with complex care needs, all people supported are young and some are care leavers transitioning into their own tenancies for the first time. •All people supported need support with daily activities ranging from, personal care, house keeping, meals and cooking assistance, and taking part in the local activities and accessing the community.What is important to us?•We need empathic, patient staff to provide person-centred support to individuals who will be moving here and help them settle into their new lives.•Experience of supporting people with complex care needs, youth transition and supporting young adults who are care leavers. • You will be supporting people to work towards person-centred outcomes, enabling them to develop independence and maintain safety in their home and community. Other information? Regular buses link to Manchester, Stockport and beyond. •We will have a core background team on duty 24/7 so there is overnight shifts and we will provide additional 1-1 hours support Your values: We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience.
