About The Role

M Group Services  has an opportunity for a Senior   Resourcing Business Partner,  working from our offices in Stepps, Glasgow on a 9 Month FTC.

This role will have an element of hybrid working, we will ask you to be in the office a minimum of 3 days a week.

M Group Services delivers a range of essential infrastructure services within the water, energy, transport and telecommunications sectors in the UK & Ireland.

This role sits within our Water Division, a 3000 person strong division made up of specialist industry professionals, field staff and back office team members. You will join a team of 5 based across the UK who are responsible for c.1200 permanent hires a year. This role will focus on a specific headhunting approach across some hard to fill positions, plus a project to increase our direct labour offering.

As a Senior Resourcing Business Partner with us, you’ll have the opportunity to partner with the business and hiring managers, providing end to end management of talent acquisition services for our Scottish Frameworks and specialist market.

The SRBP is a trusted partner, who will take the lead and have full oversight of all resourcing activity across these areas, working closely with the business and the HR community, creating a talent pools and pipelines, to satisfy current and future needs.

As the Senior Resourcing Business Partner, you will have the opportunity to:

Build strategic recruitment and vacancy management solutions that support the delivery of the business strategy Develop and implement direct sourcing and attraction methods through search and selection, online advertising, job boards, referral scheme, networking, social media and working in partnership with external providers and professional bodies Management information reporting and utilisation of the applicant tracking system (ATS) to monitor and report key performance indicators including, time to hire, candidate sourcing method and cost/savings per hire Ensure recruitment procedures and processes are compliant, shared across the business and aligned with UK employment law  Support continuous improvement projects as part of the Resourcing functions overall strategy Build relationships with and act as the specialist point of contact for their client group, on resourcing, offering guidance, advice and support Develop and deploy strategies to ensure Inclusion and Diversity across all recruitment actives Work closely with HRBPs to ensure that the redeployment policies and processes are adhered

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

Demonstrable experience of resourcing for a variety of positions, within Civil Engineering or MEICA vacancies You must have experience of direct search using LinkedIn Recruiter Experience gained within an Internal Recruitment team at a Resourcing Business Partner Level.  Up to date experience of market mapping, head hunting and talent pipelining Able to make recommendations for effective assessment and recruitment techniques/approaches based on business need Ability to build strong, trusted relationships across Resourcing & Talent, HR and across the business Ability to present sound and well-reasoned arguments to convince and persuade and influence stakeholders of all levels Having used Eploy before would be a distinct advantage but not a problem if you haven’t.
