Role Summary

This is a non-patient facing Secretary role based in the Specialist Services Division which is spread across from Okehampton (Mid Devon), the City of Exeter, to the seaside town of Seaton (East Devon). In a nutshell this crucial role supports the Cancer Services Senior Management Team to deliver our services to patients, and provides direct support to the Lead Cancer Nurse.

You will be part of a supportive and close working team that provides a professional and vital administrative service to the senior team in Cancer Services. The team are friendly, well respected and contribute every day to ensure our patients receive the best care.

This is a great opportunity for someone to progress in their Administration career, providing a professional and efficient administrative support to your key manager, cultivating a positive and helpful working relationship that enables your senior customer to concentrate on their role. 

Providing support with crucial organisation, diary management, task management, planning, minute-taking, producing reports, documents, spreadsheets and presentations for example.

This role also gives an opportunity to learn systems relating to Quality by providing administrative support and cross-cover for the Stem Cell Quality Assurance Co-ordinator role.

Working Pattern: hours per week, typical working pattern 9: - :, Monday to Friday
