Our client has been offering a comprehensive range of legal services with professionalism and personal attention for many years. They're proud to be a leading regional law firm, providing reassurance and expertise to its clientele.

They are seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary or Legal Secretary to join their team in their Exeter office. This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of a professional and friendly Litigation Department, known for its inclusive team ethos and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

**Litigation Secretary Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate excellent secretarial and typing skills (both audio and copy typing) with exceptional attention to detail.
- Manage a busy workload using your initiative and organisational skills.
- Utilise digital dictation and case management software proficiently.
- Manage fee earners' diaries effectively.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Cope well under pressure, with the ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Take a proactive approach to anticipating and meeting the needs of the Litigation Department.
- Competency in using Microsoft Word and other Office products.

**Litigation Secretary Requirements**:

- Previous legal secretarial experience is essential.
- Litigation experience is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
