Overview

Gallagher is looking to expand our Carrier Management function, as a Strategic Carrier manager you will be fundamental in managing the Carrier Management Strategic Insurer partners across Gallagher UK. The role will involve leading the C-Suite Relationships with our Strategic Insurer partners, designing and agreeing Strategic Business Plans, ensuring the business delivers on our agreed service commitments, the negotiation of ISA contracts and fees, and driving the group placement strategy forward. How you'll make an impact Where allocated by Carrier Management Director, manage the negotiation of commercial aspects of ISA contracts and manage C-Suite relationships with allocated Strategic Insurers partners. Ensure fully signed ISA contracts and supporting documents are documented in line with team processes. Seek out and deliver new revenue streams for Gallagher UK. Support Carrier Management Director with tender process for any new or renewing Facility / Quota Share, or where directed, lead placement of any new or renewing Facility / Quota Share arrangement ensuring at all times that business objectives are achieved and all aspects of applicable Company policies are followed. Support Carrier Management Director in managing their Insurer partner relationships, and promotion of focused placement strategy. Manage C-Suite relationship with key internal stakeholders / business areas. Design, deliver and lead meetings with Strategic Insurer partners in order to monitor service delivery against ISA contracts and Business plans. Record actions using standard templates and distribute to all parties. Monitor and complete service grading reports for all contracts assigned and distribute as required. Own and maintain full Strategic Insurer partner Key Stakeholder maps and briefing documents as required. Utilisation of all available MI and data and analytics to provide and present factual insights to Strategic partners and internal customers Distribute quarterly MI packs to Strategic Insurer partners, giving a comprehensive overview of trading, markets conditions and tailored observations, responding on any queries. Other ad hoc requirements as may be required by Carrier Management from time to time. About you Ability to use MI reports to identify trends within the data, identifying opportunities and threats that drive activity with Strategic Insurer Partners in achieving their strategic aims and objectives. Ability to use Data to provide factual insights internally and externally. Proficient in negotiating and communicating with senior representatives of Strategic Insurer Partners and Internal stakeholders. Detailed understanding of trends and issues likely to affect Gallagher’s placement strategy and a broad knowledge of the Insurance Market. Can articulate the purpose of FCA regulation and principles. Monitors and articulates changes in legislation and regulation which could affect ISA processes and responds to these changes to ensure ongoing compliance. Detailed understanding of the Panels & Pre-Selected Insurer Partner policy and how this applies to their own job role. Works with Compliance to review and amend the policy where necessary. Detailed understanding of all aspects of Carrier Management roles, responsibilities, and functions.
