An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to be responsible for the daily management of APCOA operations at Heathrow Airport.
You will be working as the on–site Operations Manager to ensure all operational requirements and service level agreements are met through all aspects of the Heathrow Porter contract. This role ensures quality standards and contractual requirements are maintained and the financial performance of the contract achieves and exceeds our stakeholder expectations.

What you'll do:
Assist the Contract Manager in ensuring the smooth delivery of the contract with operational responsibility for day to day running of the Heathrow Porter Contract. Contribute to and agree service delivery standards and to monitor and report on performance against those standards. Working with the administrative team to assist with the management and planning of resources. This includes effective deployment of staff throughout the contract ensuring operational requirements are accomplished. Continuous monitoring of revenue activity, involving regular reporting on Key Performance Indicators to Contract Manager, identifying trends and instigating remedial action where necessary. Resolve all operational problems within the scope of the contract and prepare responses within established timeframes to all service complaints and contractual issues raised. Monitor budget and contract spend in relation to uniform, stationary and equipment maintenance ensuring effective cost control. Identify and assist in the development of new business within the contract Management of staff including training, absence management, recruitment, disciplinaries and grievances. Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports in line with the client and APCOA’s reporting requirements.
What you'll bring:
Experience in Operations Management and Supervision roles. Confident & Competent to develop beneficial relationships with the client, senior managers, and key stakeholders. Competence to work under pressure, with a positive and resilient nature. Able to prioritise workloads in a fast-changing work environment. You will have excellent leadership skills. Have a hands-on can-do approach. IT literate with experience of using MS Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Well-developed people management skills.
