As a Deputy Manager you will assist and work closely alongside the Registered Manager in the planning, organising and management of the home. To take lead responsibility for key areas as designated by the Registered Manager. You will be required to foster good morale and team spirit amongst the team and good relationships with the local community to create a warm, homely, caring environment within the home whilst catering for the children, nevertheless taking into account the needs of the individual. Ensuring the highest standards of physical, social and emotional care is offered, exceeding any guidance and standards set by Ofsted.
· 1 year experience working within residential childcare (essential)
· Ofsted experience required.
· 5 years of professional references.
· Enhanced adult & child DBS, subscribed to the update service (or willing to get one)
· Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care (required)
· Driver (required)
