Finance Business Partner

Reporting to the Director of Management Accounts, you will take ownership of the financials for Haymarket Business Media (HBM), as well as managing and developing a small team. You will be working with various stakeholders across the business, supporting them with analysis of all financial matters of the division.
Duties will include:
Taking ownership for production of all monthly and annual reporting for HBM
Sit on the Executive Team of HBM, contributing to the effective running of HBM
Sit on HBM Board and attend quarterly Board Meetings with Senior Haymarket Management.
Collaborating with HBM managers to complete annual budgets and 3-year business plans
Confidently present summary information to executive stakeholders across the group.
Create and maintain successful working relationships with key stakeholders, both internally within the team and across other business areas.
Attend and credibly contribute to local business meetings.
Continuously seek ways to improve internal financial reporting and control processes.
Positively challenge business assumptions.
Support the business in catering for uncertainty by performing scenario analysis where necessary.
Key Skills & Experience:
Attained or working towards a relevant professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA etc).
Experienced with Microsoft Office, operating at an advanced level within Excel.
Good experience of seeking and implementing ways to improve on current practice.
Must have a conscientious, accurate and methodical approach to work.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, e.g. articulate when communicating to partners and key staff, and able to present financial results to the function and wider business.
Can demonstrate strong relationship building skills with ability to work with colleagues at all levels.
A team player with a flexible and pro-active approach to work with the ability to work autonomously.
